Terms of Service

The architecture of my agreement with you.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading or using FlowwState, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you are using FlowwState for a company, you represent that you have the authority to bind that entity to these terms.

2. The Software

FlowwState is an OS-level productivity tool designed for knowledge management and AI-assisted workflows. I grant you a revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the software for personal or professional use.

3. Knowledge Ownership

You own everything you create. FlowwState makes no claim to the intellectual property of your notes, files, or any output generated by the AI through your use of the software. Your thoughts remain your own.

4. Bring Your Own API (BYO-API)

FlowwState utilizes a "Bring Your Own API" model. You acknowledge that:

  • FlowwState provides a limited daily free usage allocation to try out the application's features.
  • For continued use, you are responsible for obtaining and maintaining your own API keys from providers (e.g., Groq, OpenAI).
  • You are responsible for any costs incurred with those providers.
  • FlowwState operates without central servers and is not responsible for the uptime, quality, or reliability of third-party services.

5. AI Content Disclaimer

FlowwState facilitates interaction with Large Language Models. AI-generated text may be inaccurate, biased, or incomplete. You are solely responsible for reviewing and verifying any information generated by the tool before relying on it for critical work.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use FlowwState to:

  • Violate any local, state, or international laws.
  • Develop or distribute malware.
  • Infringe upon the intellectual property rights of others.
  • Reverse engineer the software for competitive purposes.

7. Limitation of Liability

FlowwState is provided "AS IS." To the maximum extent permitted by law, I (the creator) shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of data or profit, arising from the use or inability to use the software.
